Overall, not a terrible week for weather, but a mixed start and end for water conditions. As a cold front moves into the area, highs will only be in the 50’s on Monday and Tuesday with lows in the 30’s and 40’s. By Wednesday, things will warm up into the 60’s and 70’s with lows in the 40’s and 50’s before dropping back down into the 50’s with 30’s and 40’s for Friday and the weekend with another cold front. The cold front on Thursday will bring rain or shower chances as well. The rest of the week looks dry, except for maybe early Monday with some lingering showers possible. Water conditions will start and end borderline to cautious with good conditions on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday until late. Monday, late Thursday, and Friday will have gusty winds and seas to 4+ feet inshore and 8 feet offshore. Surf and beach conditions will be the same with gusty winds on Monday, late Thursday, and Friday with surf heights to 4 feet. Water temperatures are steady in the 50’s and 60’s. UV Index will be Low to Moderate at 2-4/15.

A cold front will cross the region this evening, followed by high pressure building into the Northeast for the start of the new work week before moving into the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast by Wednesday morning. A cold front moves across the region Thursday night through Friday morning. High pressure briefly returns, but a back door cold front may impact the area next weekend.

The weekend looks dry but chilly with highs in the 40’s and 50’s and lows in the 30’s and 40’s. Water, surf and beach conditions are looking good, maybe some borderline spots, right now.

The Tropics are quiet still.

Have a great week and thanks for reading!
