Sandy Hook area fluking? 6/25
« on: June 26, 2017, 08:32:54 AM »
Put the boat in again at the Atlantic Highlands ramp, got out around 9am sunday we fished out on Flynn's Knoll area for a half hour with the rest of the fleet poking and hoping. After feeling the doom and gloom there we tried along the Ambrose then left that area for a north beach drift then ammo pier and a couple other spots all sucked all we managed was 2 shorts couple sea robins and a shark that went over 20lbs which managed to snap my favorite fluking rod when i went for the pliers it took me under the boat and got me. First rod i ever snapped on a fish out there. In my 35 plus years of fluking this is the slowest start ive ever seen 5hrug

Looseing your favorite rod sucks, but its a excuse to visit tackle shops in search of a new one t^
