Valiant effort everyone.  Thanks for all your time and energy put into this GT.  As you said, maybe we can just jump on a boat next weekend, for those who can make it.  I know with the holidays everyone has a lot to do and some won't be able to make next weekend.  I am game for pretty much anytime if anyone wants to jump on a boat, make a post and we can meet up there.

The next few weekends for me are all up in the air.  Christmas get togethers, house work, etc.

I'm thinking we should just try to hit the Sea Hawk or another boat that's sailing open.  If we choose the Sea Hawk, I'm sure he'll put up rods for us so most can fish together and will be the same rate.

Very doubtful for me to be fishing the weekend of December 22/23.

I'm attending another sites holiday party the night of the 22nd.

I am however giving serious consideration to either doing an offshore sea bass trip or going down to Delaware to blackfish the weekend of December 29/30. Just waiting for the most opportune moment to tell (OK ask) the wife.

Sea Hawk? Yep.  Just doing charters when the need arises.  Pretty sure ours would have been his last charter for 2007.  Think he stops sailing on 12/31 for this year.  Wants to do a lot to the boat when he pulls out.  We'll plan something for 2008, maybe flounder or fluke or spring tog'n. TT^

Got a call that a few are headed out tomorrow with the SH as well as another charter out of Belmar.  Seems quite a few are eager to drown some crabs and going to head out tomorrow.  So many invites and kills me I gotta turn em down as I have a serious salt jones.
Should be a window of decent condions for most of the day too.
Already have plans to go to Theresa's grandmother's 94th Bday party tomorrow.  chrz

If I try to avoid that, well, maybe the repurcussions wouldn't be all that bad... hhppy

Think he's only sailing until the end of December.
Majority of checks went out this morning.  Still need a few addresses so get them to me quick please.

Not sure what's up for this weekend, will know later in the week.

Got my check in yesterdays mail, but it seems there was a mistake. It was only for $50.00.  My original check sent to you was for $500.00 (I had included a big tip in advance) rofla rofla

Again, thanks for all the hard work you put into trying to make this happen. You did a yeoman's job and all of us are grateful for your efforts.

Hope the checks are good.  Had new ones made up, they had all the wrong info the first time even thought the proof was correct.  Sent another replacement batch which had wrong address, and then these that were the wrong print but info looked correct chrz

Sorry the trip didn't go off.  Gonna try and get out there this weekend.  Not sure what day yet.

Good Luck Gottog, if you do go out tomorrow, it is suppose to be nasty on the water.  The surf today was really rough.  5 - 8 foot swells if not higher.

The water was right up to the base of the dunes I think parts of Ortley will flood tonight.  We will see in the morning.
