An unsettled week with cautious and hazardous water conditions. This week will feel more like Summer with rain and showers most of the week, possible thunderstorms on Monday and Tuesday, highs in the 60’s and 70’s and lows in the 50’s and 60’s with higher humidity. Water, surf and beach conditions will be borderline to harzardous with winds to 35 knots and seas to 9 feet. Water temperatures are steady in the 60’s and 70’s, still. UV Index will be Low to High at 0-6/15
A cold front will become stationary just north of our region, then move slowly north overnight. Meanwhile, the remnants of Nate will traverse the Appalachians, moving just west of our area on Monday. Another cold front frontal passage is expected Tuesday night. A sprawling area of Canadian high pressure will settle across our region Wednesday through early next weekend. An additional cold front may approach our area by late next weekend.
Nate is now just a depression and will pass to our north tomorrow. Rain should be the only major issue, however an isolated thunderstorm may be possible as well. There is another area of invest in the Atlantic.
Have a great week and thanks for reading!
