A mixed weekend with a dry start and cautious water conditions. Saturday will have a mix of sun and clouds with clouds increasing all day. Showers are possible during the day and chances increase into Saturday Night and for Sunday Day. Showers will clear out for late Sunday Night. Water conditions will be cautious with gusty winds 20-25 knots and seas to 7 feet. Water temperatures are steady in the low to mid 60’s.

A cold front will continue to move eastward across the region through early this evening. Canadian high pressure builds in behind the front late tonight and Saturday. High pressure will gradually lose its influence on the Mid Atlantic late in the weekend as the center of the high progresses east of the Canadian Maritimes and a warm front lifts through our area. A cold front is expected to pass through the region Monday afternoon and night before stalling to our south by Tuesday. Several waves of low pressure may develop along this boundary midweek. High pressure returns for the end of next week.
There is an invest area in the Atlantic, but it will stay out to sea.

Have a great weekend and thanks for reading!
