Another mixed week with snow chances and cautious water conditions. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will have a mix of sun and clouds with chances of snow. Monday will have snow showers, starting as early as Sunday Night. Tuesday will have the greatest chance of accumulating snow, with less than an inch to three inches possible, with the greatest accumulation for Northern NJ. Wednesday will have a mix of sun and clouds with snow showers possible. Highs will range from the 20’s to 30’s with overnight lows in the teens to 30’s. Thursday and Friday will be mainly dry with more sun than clouds, but windy. Water conditions will be cautious all week, with bettering conditions by the end of the week.

High pressure centered over southeastern Canada will continue to nose southward toward the Mid-Atlantic states through Monday. A clipper low is expected to move east across the Great Lakes Monday night and Tuesday, then redevelop off the northern Mid-Atlantic
coast Tuesday night. The low will strengthen as it tracks east of Cape Code on Wednesday. Another area of low pressure is expected to form off Cape Hatteras late Wednesday and then move out to sea Thursday. High pressure builds in from the Southeastern states late in the week before progressing offshore next weekend.

Have a great week and thanks for reading!

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Some of the state will see accumulation snow up to 4-6 inches in very Northern NJ. As low pressure moves east it will leave snow behind. The low then develop out in Ocean Waters and move off towards the NNE. It will bring rain, wintry mix, and/or snow depending on location. The greatest accumulations will be north of the I95 Corridor. Areas south of this area will see rain and wintry mix and any snow accumulations will be less than an inch or so. This will not be a major winter storm, but it will be a moderate storm for some. This will start as early as Tuesday Morning and end as late as Wednesday Night.

Be safe!!
