4/28, Worked the deck for Captain Ed. Had a group of guys from Pa. Come down for some bass action. Left the dock at 0600 in the dense fog took a short ride and got set up. Within a few minutes the clicker sounded and the first hook up was on. Had our full boat limit by 730 am and played C&R until 1130 when the guys had enough. Had 40+ keepers(orl) up to 25 lbs all on the troll, did have a few casting swim shads but they wouldn't bite the jigs.
4/29. Last minute trip for a few guys that wanted to go, left the dock at 0700 and ran to where we left them the day before. Wasnt long before we came tight and boated the first keeper. Action died after that, we made a quick run to new grounds away from the fleet and set up. Marks were pretty consistent but the bites were a little slow until we figured out what they wanted. Made quick work of the 5 man box and headed to the barn by 1030 before the wind kicked up.
The excellent bite continues and the Bass started taking jigs and live bunker. Spots open Thurs, friday PM get in while its good.
