Today aboard the Down Deep we ran another 6 am open boat Seabass trip for a big crowd of great new and returning guys. Not wanting to miss out the super bite, we started right where we left off and returned to see the machine lit up like Broadway at nite. The crew proceeded to get hammered on the way down as the Seabass were savage. Singles, doubles & triples of beautiful biscuits quickly filled the totes, with plenty more returned for tomorrow. Throw in a sprinkling of delicious assorted bottom dwellers for good measure that all went to the table and were filleted, bagged and iced for the crew to grab, as the dock lines came tight, without the wait. Pick a day, come out and load up. Then today aboard the Down Deep Bull we ran another 6 am open boat Raritan Bay Striper trip for a great bunch of guys. Back to business after a stellar day yesterday on the Seabass grounds, today the girls got jealous. They bit in vengeance and everyone wound up with what they came for. Curtis had his PB today at 41" / 30#, congrats Curtis. There's plenty more where these came from, get out and get yours. Fluke fishing seems like it should start off on a good note as keepers are being returned on recent trips, without trying.
