A mostly settled week with mixed water conditions. Monday Day will be wet, with high chances of rain, clearing out for Monday Night. Northern NJ is the only area that will have chances of less rain. Monday Night and Tuesday will be dry with Tuesday Night and Wednesday Day having chances of showers and thunderstorms. Wednesday Night and Thursday will be dry again with showers and thunderstorms possible for Friday. Highs will be in the 60’s to 80’s with lows in the 40’s to 60’s. Inshore water conditions will be cautious on Monday, borderline on Tuesday, and then good for the rest of the week. Midshore to offshore will be borderline to cautious all week. Surf and beach conditions will be cautious on Monday and Tuesday with a Moderate Risk of Rip Currents both days. Wednesday conditions will improve through the end of the week, however thunderstorms will still be a risk. Water temperatures are in the upper 50’s to upper 60’s.

A stationary boundary will remain south of our area through Tuesday. Meanwhile, high pressure over eastern Canada will build southward into the Mid Atlantic states on Monday, moving offshore through Tuesday. A cold front will cross the region on Wednesday, followed by high pressure for Thursday. Another low pressure system may
affect the region on Friday, then high pressure returns for the weekend.

Have a great week and thanks for reading!
