NJ Fishing & Boating Weather Outlook Weekly Oct 15-21, 2018
« on: October 14, 2018, 07:42:54 PM »

Another mixed week with mainly cautious to hazardous water conditions. Rain and showers are likely for Monday through Wednesday and Saturday and Sunday. Thursday and Friday look to be the only dry days. Highs will range from the 50’s to 70’s with lows in the 30’s to 50’s. Water conditions will be cautious to hazardous all week. Small Craft Advisories are already in place. Surf and beach conditions will be borderline to cautious. Water temperatures are in the 60’s to low 70’s.

High pressure off the mid-Atlantic coast this evening will move farther out to sea tonight and Monday. Meanwhile low pressure will move from the Great Lakes northeastward across southeast Canada, and a trailing cold front will cross our area Monday night. A re-enforcing cold front will arrive on Wednesday, followed by strong high pressure on Thursday. The high should move offshore on Friday, followed by yet another cold front on Saturday, then more high pressure for Sunday. Except for Monday,
temperatures will be near or below normal, and any rainfall relatively light.

A couple areas being watched for development, but nothing active at this time.

Have a great week and thanks for reading!
