Headed out this morning around 6. Stopped to investigate a few bunker pods on the way out that looked like they were being harassed. Nothing doing so with the fishing boats starting to arrive, pressed on to our intended destination. Nobody home at that spot so headed over to the anchorage area near the VB. Anchor came tight and was silent for about 10 minutes. Then it turned on. Every drop produced a tog. Running through the crabs, tried mixing in some clams and that produced bites as well. About and hour holding on that spot it turned even hotter. Current started pushing us off the spot so we repositioned. Once we were on it, it went dead. As fast as it came, it went. Easily 50 short tog with most just under the size and ended with 3 keepers all around 4lbs. Were going to hit another spot when I looked at the weather and saw the rain pushing in a bit earlier. Called it and headed in. Just beat the first drops
