GAMBLER— One more tuna trip and Fun bass action
« on: November 12, 2019, 11:19:44 AM »
Great day for Striper Fishing.

One more Canyon Trip!

Striper action was terrific yesterday, Monday. It was a beautiful sight, watching millions of schooling peanut bunker getting pummeled by bass and little blues.

Great top water action.  Most were caught on shads but AVAs and spoons worked well too.

A few of the guys were casting topwater plugs. Exciting to see the bass following and furiously crashing into those lures.

It was mostly slot fish and everyone aboard took one home. There were also a few bigger stripers,  over 28", taken.

We are trying to put together one more canyon trip.  Our trip last week was good. There is nice looking water out there from the Hudson canyon all the way to Wilmington canyon.  We only have a half our usual roster filled but if we can get a couple more guys, we will head off. The weather looks great.
If you want to go,  please call Jill at 732-295-7569 today.

We have also posted our offshore jumbo sea bass trips for December.  Check out the dates on our site.

Hope to see you aboard on any of these trips. Don't let a little cold weather keep you home!
