Short Bay 6/28
« on: June 28, 2020, 05:42:55 PM »
hit the shop and replaced some bucktails and gulp from last trip. Off the dock just after 6am. Darted towards Perth Amboy. Had a handful of shorts but the spot was getting crowded. Moved over to Princes Bay, Tons and Tons of bait but couldn't pique the interest of any predators.  On to RB Channel and more shorts. Next 11A marker, a couple shorts then went completely dead. Made a dash back towards PB and PE to find dogfish that wanted gulp and one big ass sea robin. Called it around 1230. Mackerel was the hot gulp color. The doggies enjoyed the fire tiger.

Fluking has been pretty dismal . How about those bunker schools . Water is still very unsteady . High /low temp. are a big change in temp during the tide change ,once it gets more regulated ,we should see an improvement . ( He said with his fingers crossed ).
