I'm a big fan of Sufix braid.  I've used Power Pro and Stren and feel Sufix is a superior product.

Hi All,

I was strictly mono for the longest time.  Swore by the stuff until I replaced one reel with Power Pro and saw the difference.  WOW...

It out casts mono by at least 20 - 30 yrds, and I can feel the bottom much better when fishing bait.  I fish mainly surf so that is important.

Since trying the stuff I have now switched over to all braid and never looked back.

I tie all my plugs directly to the braid and have had no problem.

For bait rigs I tie on a fishfinder rig with anywhere from an 18" leader to 3' depending on the conditions.

One thing I notices with the braid is that it can bury itself into the spool.  An easy fix is to set the drag your normal way and back off another 1/4 turn.  I do this all the time now and have had no problem since.

Happy Catching

Paul
