Doesn't have to, just makes it more personal. TT^

You don't have to, buy like said above, its more personal.  When your on the water, people will get familiar with your boat by the name that is on the side of it.

Actually, the people I met on the water from these sites came up to me and asked, are you the Luna Sea that is on the site...

So, it helps to meet people while on the water.  You may be fishing next to guys on this site and not even know it.

When I met Young gull, he came up to me and asked if I was the same Luna Sea on the site, I said yes...  They he showed me is 8 lbs Fuke...  NICE....

When I eventually buy a boat this is how I'm going to name it (feel free to use the name if you like):

PS - That's what that part of the alphabet would look like if there where no Q or R.

I dont put a name on my boat for the simple reason people will follow you around ,I had boats follow me last season and it was a pain in the ass.I had lefteye out one day and we were hitting them good up to 7 lbs w/ no one around us next thing you know we were mugged big time and had to move and when we moved the boats followed us ,I had to fish dead water for some time t get rid of them
