Winter Flounder Baits

I heard some talk from my father and is old friends about using night crawlers and large garden worms for winter flounder bait. Anyone ever heard of this and tried it?

I've heard of people using them but I haven't so I have no first hand knowledge.

if you have a real good bite the will work but not  a go to bait.

they wash out very quick making them worthless unless the bite is quick...

although i used them for both flounder and stripers in oyster creek but you got the bite within 5 min or you changed the bait...

I have used them with success for Stripers when I couldn't get any other bait.

I haven't tried them for Flatties.

Seabait is really nice.  The wands are great for soft plastics, im sure the marinade works well to
