Sun came out and so did the Flatties 4/10
« on: April 10, 2008, 11:30:28 PM »
Set out today with Neil Sr, Neil Jr (or as he liked to be called N Squared), Jim and Frank.

Boys opted for a later start due to traveling, hit the water at 0830 hrs. Motored to the back of the Raritan Bay, and glad we did. Fished the incoming through the slack and into the out going. Had temp readings high as 51'......

As the sun warmed us and the Flatties the bite started, not the fast furious bite hoped for but good steady picking.

Wound up with 27 keepers to 18" and about 12 throw backs.....water was dead flat and calm, perfect day........Sands and Clams accounted for the hook dressing, again heavy chum was used.

N Sqaured was high hook with 9.:
