barnegat bay report (NIGHT)
« on: April 22, 2008, 01:52:20 PM »
went out a couple nights (sat and mon) to a few of the traditional haunts in lower barney with the little boat in search of the tide runner weakies that usually arrive on the moon in late april...

we only caught one weakie (5lb male) but plenty of bass to keep busy with. mostly shorts and a couple of the demons.

will try again later in the week at night.

Couple of buddies caught the first couple of weakies at raritan bayshore around onion beach so they should be arriving soon!!!

Sounds good Jerry!  t^  If my boat was running, I know a couple of spots I'd be heading out to right about now for those weakies!  ;)

Meyers Hole is always a great spot down there.  In the northern bay, the hole by Dale's Point is sure to produce a few weeks after they get them down there.
