Prowler 5 Striper Fishing 4/19/08
« on: April 20, 2008, 08:55:09 AM »
Well, after an unseccessful turkey hunt in the am, I headed down the Atlantic Highlands for some Striper Fishing.  The weather was nice enough inshore and I think I saw a full moon on Friday evening, so I figured it's gonna break loose any day now.

17 anglers on the boat, 3 of us ladies (2 of us regulars).  It was a bit chillier than I expected.  I ended up with 2 skates an a few swing and misses, but the boat ended up with 22 shorts, and 4 keepers, the largest weighing 25 1/2 pounds.

Another week or so and . . .

Great effort on both fronts.  t^ Count on the bass fishing to break open in less than two weeks.  TT^
