Took the shakedown into a snotty bay yesterday afternoon. Nice east blow with incoming tide. Pockets of sun breaking thru but mostly not.
Only had a few hours by the time we got there but da boat ran flawlessly. Flounders and flukies near the pier and in the shallows. Couple for dindin and they liked chartreuse. Christine was the high hook yet again so my plan continues to work perfectly.
Saw a few boats right off the beach- looked like they were pitching clamz- did not see anything come over the rails. I think I will try myself maybe one night later in the week... I am hearing reports of some stripeys biting.
Also heard unconfirmed reports of beaucoup dead bunker washing up along the upper Navesink from the hospital to Chris'. Bigguns. Any thoughts?
