Haven't done it yet, but am contemplating doing so next season.  t^
If anyone does put one in, I would be interested in hearing the details.

Hey Capt. Joe. Just did put a thru hull b164 thru hull in my 25' parker SE CC. Wasn't that hard to do. Big hole though for that 1000 kw transducer. 3 3/4 diameter. I'll send you pics soon as I figure out how.

Thanks Buddah. I have an older Parker. Shouldn't be much different.

Don't know if you had the lower power transom mounted transducer, but if you did, is there a notable difference in the screen quality between the 1k thru hull and the transom mounted lower power transducer?

Thanks Mark.

Just another of those expensive ideas I am toying with after losing bottom for a bit last week on my transom Mount. I think I have to play with the angle a bit on it, but still like the idea of a thru mount :)

Not a shoot thru, but a thru the hull transducer?

I added that in the off season. Had a shoot thru; didn't have water temp, wasn't thrilled with the results in low water as well as deep water... had better results on my prior boat which had the thru hull. Added the new Airmar SS270W wide beam... here's a picture installed..

I did the Airmar b60 last year. You just need to get past the drilling a big hole in your hull. I removed a pickup and enlarged the hole...Shoot me an email if you have any ??s

OK, figured out how to post install pics. Here goes. The picture is viewed from the aft deck through the slam-shut hatch of my parker where the batteries and battery switch is located then the final shot is from underneath.  t^
