Blues 5/4 Manasqaun inlet

Sunday afternoon turned out very nice in squan.  Pulled the Pounder 2 out of the River Club to get afew hours (2 hrs) of bluefishing in the river... despite non-desireable tides and relatively heavy boat traffic, i managed to find some fish in warmer water about 1/4 mile upriver of the canal mouth  managed 5 decent fish in the little time we had at that spot. MANY boats bluefishing, most catching nothing.  Next weekend should be gooood for blues/bass/weaks if the weather holds...

i was fishing on the point pleasant side of this, and I got super skunked, saw one guy on the other side pick up what looked like a nice sized striper.
