That's been discussed before. Is it a good thing? It could be. But the way our government works all it will be is a money generator for the general fund.
What will happen when the government calls for information? How many will give the correct numbers? How many will actually have numbers to give. New Jersey has the same basic system for the bonus tag for striped bass. How many anglers who get the bonus tag actually fill out the information and send it in? I would not hesitate to say that at least half do not.
