got early start this morning,fishing back bay by 6:30.used fresh clams,not much action today,for a full days effort 2 shorts,neighbor John had one on that seemed good size but lost it before getting to boat,also 2 giagantic skate back to back,for some reason the fish don't seem to be there yet like this time last year,not reading much bait fish,think its got to warm up more.didn't see many boats today or hear a lot of chatter on the radio.hopefully it gets better after it warms up over the weekend.
