Bunker Spoon ?
« on: May 20, 2008, 07:02:18 PM »
I was looking to pick up some Bunker Spoons on Ebay.  I found some that look on the older size.  Just wondering if painting them and refurbishing them is worth it.  Or just buy a less and new.

For the right price they would be worth it. Not cheap new.  TT^

I would give it a go for that price......polish up the silver ones and paint the others....you most likely will have to change out the hooks but it is no big deal

nick, i have the secret spoons and have trolled them with sucess. I use the seeker bunker spoon rods with rodriggers with braid. The rods are huge and a pain in the ass. specialized equip for sure. I am lazy and use the stretch series way more often and they catch plenty of big stripers. Maybe, i just need a bigger boat for all the equip?

looks good nick i would go for it but i would need a bigger tackel box. o wait i already do need that.

Price is right right now but avoid a bidding war at the end....
