What do you do with your extra bunker???

Took my kid and a buddy over to gr.kills and had  ablast teaching them how to snag the bunkies on Sat. the 24th. Tried several diff. spots but hardley used any bait. No blues , no bass??? We had a couple run offs by blues but they have the knack to eat around the hook??? Anyway I saved the unused bunker and froze them. Will the frozen stuff work as well as the fresh or will it be wise to catch more on the next trip and chum the frozen stuff??

it will work fine unless its for a long time
then if you vacum pack them your good aswell
i was their sat my self but on the beach and had the same luck zippo but their were blues cruzing on the bunker pods

freeze, then crab bait

I wonder if anyone has ever used them for fertilizer in the vegi garden?

It is unfortunate to say but the bunker boats that go out catch them and some make their way as just that fertilizer.  I guess it works as they targer them for that reason.

i freeze mine as well and use them for chum and hopefully get the fresh to use as bait next time out. But, if you dont get the bait then u can use it but it is no where near as good as fresh.
