My day on the Big Jamaica
« on: May 25, 2008, 08:47:23 PM »
I decided to try my had at some striper action on the Big Jamaica today.  We immediately headed north to what looked like to me the Sandy Hook area. Birds working and a few other boats around.  We drop lines and BAM!!! Tons of action ... all Blues, but fun... Action died down so me moved further north and BAM hit the blues again!! Anyway, on the way back south Capt. saw birds working and like a tropper, he headed over to them.  BAM!!! Blues, and Stripers!! I saw about 10 being caught all keepers and all big. What a beautiful day on the water!! The ocean was like glass!! Attached are some pics of a few blues and my prize striper which weighed in at 19lbs!!!

Congrats JMD, glad you had a great day, and a beautiful striper to boot, what more could you ask for? Congrats again.
