Well, I can't say we didn't try. Left the slip at 7:09am and off to some holes just off the Sandy Hook Channel. Blues and skates the only takers. With a lack of marks on the machine and no productivity, we headed south to the Highlands pipe. Trolling on our way there produced about a dozen blues. Hunted around the pipe, found good marks, set the hook with high hopes......then nothing. Had a couple of bumps, but no takers. Trolled back up to a different lump battling another dozen or so blues. Set the hook, no marks, no fish, called it a day. I must say that navigating back the AH was quite entertaining. Weekends = Googans.
