Stripers 5/25
« on: May 25, 2008, 11:41:34 PM »
Changed my float plan this morning (after hearing poor reports) ,from Raritan Bay to My neck of the woods here in Ocean County. Found the bunker for bait, and picked away at the Stripers. High hook was my wife Jean with 4 nice ones in the boat. Largest  fish of the day was 42 in @ 35 lbs. caught by ME of coarse. All of the fish were 22lbs & up. (weighed in at Pells). Was a good day out there, bait everywhere, low boat traffic, great weather and conditions. Was boarded by the Coast Guard, it seems that they don't care about the 2008 Safety Sticker from the Aux Coast Guard, they want to look for themself.  5hrug  Going to give it a try anain Monday, weather/conditions are going to be different, might end up Fluking. <'((((><
I've spent most of my life fishing, the rest I've just wasted     <'((((><
