Peggy Lee Fluke Report 6/01
« on: June 01, 2008, 08:46:51 PM »
High Water was aprox.6 am, left the dock at 6.30 netted some bunker in between the sails and in between the piers.Tough finding them this morning.Headed to Romer Shoal with West wind and now out going tide: Nadda. Moved further South East, wind is picking up and riding on the swells: Nadda. Started the troll with stretches and spoons landed 6 Med size blues to 8lbs. One decided to eat my thumb while de-hooking doubles one blue and one short bass.Moved to tip of hook for Fluke Nadda, finished the day with three keeper fluke on spearing and squid up the river. And one sore thumb.Crew left with fillets. AJ.

Good job AJ. But, you have to learn to put that thumb away when you are unhooking the blues. Stick it in your pocket or something.  ;D They do give a nasty bite.

Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.
