This site has been more help than many people know.  I love to fish and when I could not participate in it any more because my arthritis was so bad I could not walk the beach any more I was devastated.

I tried looking for a board that was going to be my substitute for actually fishing till I could get back to the surf.  Once they found out that I was not actually fishing anymore it was like being turned away by your best friend.

So it was on our vacation to Niagara Falls and Mystic Seaport I was forced to rent a scooter to get around.  I was having a real hard time not being me.  I vowed to my wife that when we get back I will start the process of getting my hips back to something I can call normal.

I made an appointment with a surgeon up in Robert Wood Johnson Hospital and we proceeded with the process of replacing both hips.It was after the first operation when I found this site.  Everyone was so friendly and I was waiting for the sarcastic remarks to start and the usual put down of the newbies to the site, but that did not happen.  I knew then I found the right spot, especially then when I knew rehab was going to be a long drawn our ordeal.

You guys got me thru some really tough times when the Oxycodon (?) was not working to well.  I hate that stuff BTW but it helped, but not like you guys did.  I could not wait to get on to chat away the hours in the wee hours of the mornings.

As far as my hips now I might be on disability but I can manage to get to the beach by way of Expedition and that helps me to forget all my problems.  You guys are the greatest.

I have no problem sharing any information I have gained over my 50+ years fishing the saltwater area from Keyport for killies to fishing for snappers behind the bunker boats to walking out to the Hook or fishing off the jetties around Deal or Elberon.  But my favorite spots are from the Manasquan Inlet south to Barnegat Inlet.  If anyone here needs any info and I know some of the younger guys do all you have to do is ask.  The only thing I ask in return is that you pass it on freely.

So here is a great big slobbery thank you to everyone for making this site the best site bar none.

I don't have to name names you all know who I mean.  Plus there are a few that have moved on but hey things change but if they come back from time to time and read this they know I speak from the heart.

Happy Catching Everyone... chrz

Paul
