catfish's fluke report 6-13
« on: June 13, 2008, 03:51:12 PM »
Well it has been a long hard week of fishing ,I woke up for work today and just couldn't make it ,I had a case of the fluke and it was making me sick thinking of work so I made the phone call all boss's hate ,I thought I was due for a good trip since the two other trips I had this week were slow ,so I headed out solo , and w/ in minutes I had a solid five lber to the top of the water and I went to drag him into the net and he threw the hook on me so I was off to a poor start and it only got worse from there ,I couldn't find a keeper from the back to the front after that ,I had all the shorts you could handle but no big fish ,I got one 12" fluke and it had a 10 " eel hanging out of its mouth so I went to big baits and decided to make a run before the wind got worse ,I was quick to find three keeps and drop one more before I had to call it a day and head in ,I have tree trips as of now this week and cant pull a double digit day ,Hope it is better in the am .
