Marine Audio Electronics
« on: June 03, 2008, 10:06:22 PM »
Thinking about installing a basic FM radio/CD player and marine grade speakers on my Maycraft pilot house.  Anyone with suggestions on aftermarket marine audio products they have had good experiences re installation and audio quality, please post. Interested in knowing mfg, wattage, price range, successful speaker mounting locations for similar boats, etc.   I have ideas but welcome other opinions.

Thanks
Pilot

What is your budget for a radio?

Speaker wise, infinity 602m for about $85 delivered for pair are REALLY tough to beat ( I have 4 after much research).

Clarion CMD4 or 5 is going to be a REAL nice radio. I would have 1, but the jbl marine I have was given to me for free, brand new.

Do not know layout of your boat, so can't help there.

mboy,

Thanks for the feedback. sounds reasonable on the speakers.  Can't beat the price on the JBL!
