When fishing for fluke and not using a bucktail what type of sinker is best to use? Thanks for the info guys.

A bank sinker would be my preference. Enough to cast out. You don't need enought to 'hold' bottom' as you will be slowly retrieving the rig back to you, so, your rig will pretty much be at the bottom.
The lighter you can get away with, the better off you will be.  t^
