catfish's fluke report 6-19
« on: June 19, 2008, 08:15:58 PM »
I finaly went to summer hours today so I could fish the afternoon tide,I flew down to the boat around 2 and flew out to the grounds watching my gas gauge go down as I made a run to try and get in 4 hours of fishing ,I got to the spot that is holding fish and there was no drift at all ,I was cursing the gods when the wind kicked up and I now had to much drift ,I had a dead stick that couldnt hold w/ 8oz. and I strugled to find bottom w/ my 2 oz bucktail ,I had short drifts and fish on every one ,I dropped 2 keeps again comming to the net and landed 4 keepers in just over 3 hours total time ,I threw back about 25-30 shorts .Back on them in the am

Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.
