Avalon Report
« on: July 04, 2008, 04:49:21 PM »
Fished the back waters behind Avalon from 6/14 - 6/26 caught approximately 125 Fluke with 20 keepers and 7 Striped Bass with 2 keepers up to 34".  Lots of action using Bucktail rig with stripped Salted Mackerel on Busktail and a teaser up top with a 3" Gulp Shrimp.  The Gulp outperformed the bait by about a 7 out of 10 ratio.  Made it to the Cigar and 28 Mile wreck on Thursday Shark fishing but only managed 2 5' Hammerheads and some Big 11 lb. Bluefish.
