sounds like a good time! just curious, for us boatless folk, you think any of those doormats are hangin out by the rt 9 bridge? all i ever catch there are bluefish, and occasionally an early am weak
you are allowed to fish there, i believe----i have----but the water is really shallow, alot of crabbing there. the blues are still hanging around there,(oyster creek/rt 9) the weaks are there early in the morning, before the traffic noise starts. just looking for a good summer place to fish and actually catch dinner. no boat, no luck, i guess

I haven't fished there in a long time. I've never caught fluke there, (never targeted them) but I have caught a striper or two from that area in the spring. And I've also hooked into a nice sized cat there as well! (I'll have to post that story sometime.) Who knows? It could be worth a shot. -Bob
