Season Limits

Im new to all this so please bare with me.  The 2007 limit chart for Striper is (2) fish at 28" or greater but im reading stories of people getting keepers in much greater quantities.  Am i understanding the possession limits wrong?  If so please correct me.  Thanks

PC,
You are not reading wrong.  Most people post how many fish they catch that are of keeper size.  They do not actually keep them.
Also, you can have two fish per man.  So if you have six on the boat the boat limit would be twelve fish (stripers).  If you have a bonus tag you can keep an extra fish also.
