how does that contest work.  I do subscribe to the Fisherman.  Do I have to do anything in advance, or just catch what would be considered a trophy and then bring it to a particular weight station.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.

Yep, just bring it to an official weigh station. They are listed in the magazine.. They are on the month of May , weakfish I belive, there is a minimum weight required..

Edited : this month is weakfish..

Man I misunderstood how the contest works.. basicly Flounder, or any fish for that matter can be entered as long as there is a legal season.. So they can be entered until the end of May and New england has a Fall season, So flounder can also be entered then as well, Its going to be shaky at best for that fish to stay in the top 10..Oh well I'm just going to have to try for other species,, And maybe try flounder 1 more time if they are still around.. ;D

Flukedude,
I just got my Fisherman mag today.  Looks like your fish at 3 lb 2 oz would currently place 7th.  8,9 and 10 are all at 3 lb.
Congrats on your catch and I hope it holds up.  Good luck.
