i hit the beach over at great kills park ended up with 1/2 a dozzen in a couple of hours no ny keepers but two were 19 in one at 18 in and the others were 17 in not a bad day concidering it was low tide and its only 25 min from me with trafic i know if i went early in the am i would have done much better

nice catch.  Beach fluke fishing is a lot of work, very nice score.

gulp teaser was the trick spro for the weight
this is what I do also, I use a spro for weight with a large smelt, then the teaser with gulp swimming minnow and either a killie or squid strip.  If your going to drag bait, why use a bank sinker when you can use a jig.. that second hook in the water will only increas your chances.

i didnt use any bait gulp on both white on the spro green on the teaser all fish were caught on the teaser

for you boaters if you run in side the verenzanno to the bayridge flats their doing good a buddy went friday and they caught 12 ny keepers two guys fishing
