Fish Monger sat 7/19 fluke report
« on: July 21, 2008, 08:38:08 AM »
Had the boys from IFF out fluking on sat. Headed up to elberon and long branch. Had some better action than last week but it was again back to being heavy on the short fluke and seabass.

We managed 6 keepers for the box to of which were 5 lbers and some seabass.

South wind really came on around 12 again slowing  up the fishing.

Don Had a 5.2 lber leading the way and Mike had two nice seabass. We also hooked a brown shark which gave a good fight on light tackle.

Dr. Pickle aka Mark kept us entertained with great jokes when fishing was slow.

Pleasure having the guys aboard.

Thanks

Capt Jerry and Capt Wayne

Nice report and catch Capt Jerry. The fishing was pretty good in that area ntil that wind kicked up.
