PeggyLee Fluking 7/25
« on: July 26, 2008, 01:08:25 AM »
Gave it a good shot today dispite the wind and tide conditions. Moved around from spot to spot from inside to outside attempting to put a pull together.Lack of drift, we power drifted and managed 5 keepers and double that in shorts and robbins. We bucktailed and baited with sand eels, spearing, squid and belly.Fueled up and the pants went down. Generally I found it to be a tough day, wonder if the Draggers are having an effect.  Good Luck out there.   AJ.

nice catch.. to eliminate the draggers, fish over structures where draggers can't go.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.

Nice report, nice try and nice day out. 5 Keepers is a good day as far as I am concerned. Oh and I am sure the draggers are having an effect, just think of all the 17 1/2 inchers we're throwing back, I wonder how many are getting into their nets. The have a profound effect on the fishery, while trying to blame recreationals for catching to many.
