Newbie Intro
« on: August 14, 2008, 08:38:57 PM »
I was doing a search for some specific lures and stumpled on to this site. Some very interesting info here.

I dock my boat in Tuckerton and do most of my fishing in Great Bay and some offshore reefs. Great Bay was very productive for fluke this summer but more keepers would have been nice.
Hopefully the fall stripers run will be as good as the spring was.

Tight lines everyone........

Hi Capt Ron.  Welcome to the site.  Glad you found us. I am also in Tuckerton. Green head capital of the world ;D.. I since purchased a larger boat that Capt Mikes didn't have room for.. so now I'm in Barnegat.

Thank you for the shout out..  we are a friendly bunch..  no toes to step on.. and there is only one Click.. and as of now there are 1,398 people in it..  Minus a few... ;D

I look forward to your input here.

Rod

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Rod, I am also looking to move up into a 28ft Carolina Classic but that means I would have to leave all my old buddies at Rands. It would be nice if they would let those marines do some dredging to accomodate some larger boats

Welcome Aboard Capt. Ron,

It is good to have another southern input as we are lacking a little in that category.  The guys on here are great if you have any questions please fire away.  If you can add anything just jump right in and post away.

We are all open and honest with our reports and spot burning is encourages here.  There is enough water out there for everyone and as the price of fuel is still astronomical you guys with boats can benefit by the info and do not have to drive around looking for the sweet spots.  Well most of the time.

Again Welcome Aboard.

Happy Catching

Paul
