Tuna Tales Friday fluke report
« on: August 08, 2008, 08:05:20 PM »
Had Darren Stiles, Anthony Berlinski and his son Steven (age 5) out today. Fished two new areas and did OK. Ended up with 13 nice keepers to 6 lbs. I was the lucky one for that fish.

Most of the fluke were 19 1/2" to 22"

Also had a few big seabass to 20". 10 throwback fluke, 12 throwback seabass, one bluefish and one nice 4 lb ling.

Most of the fluke were caught on fresh bait...large spearing with squid.

Nice day weather-wise.

Steve (age 5) caught a few too...he did well for 7 hours on the ocean.

Nice catch Joe. Good to see you at the dock again today. (Does that give you a hint Rod?  ;D)
