Left Shark River at 9:30 am with 4 on board Me , Cathy, Drew, and Coyote Cal. Headed North and out to Squid Head. On the fishing Grounds we had a light North West breeze which changed through out the day to the North then North East then quit on us. Water temp was 75 degrees and we were fishing on 55 to 70 feet of water. I started the day by bagging a 26" fluke and at some points we had 3 fish hooked up at once. We had the normal of short fluke and couple of small Sea Bass, and Ling. Once the drift died it was nothing but Skates so we moved in to 35 feet of water and some wind to push but found only a slow pick of short fluke. We finished the day with 8 nice keepers. I am hoping to do it all again tomorrow.
