Tica Reels?
« on: September 01, 2008, 02:52:57 AM »
Anyone have or use any of the Tica Reels??  Specifically any of the Caiman Baitcasters??

Any opinions on them.  I have read a lot of good reviews and they are reasonably priced!!

Thanks!

I have a few Tica spinners that see light inshore duty.  They're what I use for light bucktailing from shore and the boats.  Have two Camry and a Libra.  Great bang for the buck. One Camry has been beat up on for 5+ seasons and still works well.  has caught plenty of fluke, flounder, porgies, blues to double-digits and schoolie sized bass.  Casts well, good drag, and seems to like Fireline.  Cosmetically...not so good as it has some war scars ;)

Buddy has a Caiman and liked it.  Beat up on it for a few seasons and still works.
