Monster Ledge Sharkin 08/19
« on: August 19, 2008, 06:43:25 PM »
left Manasquan Inlet 5am headed to the Monster Ledge in an attempt to get a late season Mako. Sloppy morning but good shark drift. drifted the east side of the pot line into 240' picked 1 blue shark and had another in the slick. Threw everything including the kitchen sink at him. Things definitely heating up out there with porpoise, whales, but not too many readings. Heard they did ok with the BFT and some blackfins south of my location. Outriggers should be back in service by next week. Played with some chicken Mahi's on the way in 1-2lbers

Nice report Chet. Good to see the action starting up in the mud hole. I hope to be getting out there again soon.  t^
