Last Week to Catch a Keeper in Cape May!
« on: August 25, 2008, 02:18:58 PM »
This is my last full week to take the boat out will be down till after Labor Day. I was just wondering if anyone in the forum runs along areas close to Cape May Harbor? What they are catching, where they are catching, and what are they catching it with??? Had 1 keeper this year and as usual my girlfriend caught it, not me. BS! I've been out over a 2 dozen times nothing, her once or twice and she got the 21"flatty!

What size is your boat?  The best spot for finding keepers is at the Old Grounds.  It's a 20 mile run from Cold Spring Inlet.  Deep water fishing (80+feet). Also Delaware Bay is loaded with croakers.  Fun to catch.
