Keyport area weakfish
« on: August 19, 2008, 06:45:07 PM »
Anyone know of a good spot in the Keyport area to catch weakfish from the
shore? I was thinking the Keyport bulkhead but wasn't sure. Also if anyone
knows of a spot does anyone have any recent reports?

Try around any of the inlets or creek mouths. Weakfish tend to move around the channels t^

My experience is that in the spring you have a better shot a weakies from shore in the Keyport area.

That being said, there have been some falls where my son & I caught a ton of small spike weakfish (4-6"s) on small metals & sabiki rigs off the Keyport Pier.
