Roosters Flukin 9-4
« on: September 04, 2008, 07:01:42 PM »
Tom and I had the Roosters out on what looks like our final Fluke trip this season. Out around Sandy Hook and down the beaches about as far as the Highlands Bridge, we used some numbers we have been saving on our GPS to try and find a few keeper Fluke to take home with us. Right up on the beaches and out to fifty-foot water depth we had the place almost to ourselves. Short Fluke were everywhere we fished, little guys up to 17½" were very plentiful, but no keepers for us. The ocean was flat and light breezes made for a pleasant trip. Pete
